Muffin love!

As you can guess from the title, today we are gonna be talking about muffins.

Who doesn’t love muffins ?! Yummy little treats, easy and cheap! Plus you can make them with anything you want. But this post is not about any type of muffin, but my all time favorite ones . . . CHOCO – CHIP MUFFINS !!!!!! Yes. You read that correctly! I love them! They are yummy, they are fluffy, they are just perfect.

Nothing can go wrong with this recipe. 9 ingredients. 30 minutes. Endless pleasure. Well, up until you eat them all.. hahaha !

(12 big or 24 little muffins)

1. 2 cups of flour

2. 1 cup of sugar

3. 3 tbsp baking powder

4. 1/2 tbsp salt

5. 1 big egg

6. 1/3 cup of melted butter

7. 1 cup of milk

8. 1/4 tbsp vanilla powder

9. 1 cup of chocolate drops

The making process;

First you wanna mix the flour with the sugar, the baking powder and the salt in a bawl.

You blend softly the egg with the butter, the milk and the vanilla powder with a fork.

Pour the chocolate drops and mix it.

Then, put the two mixtures together.

Fill the 2/3 of each muffin case.

And last but not least, bake them at 200oC for 20 – 25 minutes.

Aaaaaaand you are readyy !!!





Here you go! Now you can taste these muffins that dropped down from the heavens. Ugh, I already missed them, ’cause I couldn’t keep my hands away from them! Looking forward to making some again.

How to start your weekend the right way !

What have you been up to this last week? I’ve been a little busy lately, writing essays and preparing for the upcoming exams. But today I wanted to share with you guys my favorite things to do on weekend mornings !

Weekends are for relaxing, having some time off to escape your everyday routine and regaining strength for the week ahead. So I think it is really important to start our weekend the right way !

Here is what I like to do when I wake up on weekends step by step;


First things first ! Everybody enjoys a good beverage in the morning. Some prefer a cup of tea, some drink a really stimulant smoothie. But no, not for me ! Nothing is better than the smell and taste of a good cup of coffee. I like it black with a little bit of sugar.




My breakfast is not complete though, without my favorite porridge. I like my oats made with milk, honey, almonds, raisins, cashews and cranberries. Spray a little bit of cinnamon on top and it’s perfect!

Okay this is not something that I do only on weekends, but it is included in my everyday routine ! Everybody needs inspiration and you can find it everywhere. Whatever inspires you – fashion, architecture, design – you can find it pretty easily nowadays. Reading blog posts and watching inspiring videos on Youtube is one of my favorite things to do while enjoying my breakfast. I find it perfect to start your day positively and motivated.

I am not the type of person that loves working out, going to the gym etc. What I like to do is just walk a little bit around the city. A long morning walk has both physical and psychological benefits. For those who seek exercise but are too lazy to go to the gym ( I belong to this category myself ), walking is the best way to burn some calories and help your metabolic system to work perfectly. On the other hand morning walks are a great way to start your day; it helps you to clear your mind, relax and see things clearly. After a refreshing stroll in the streets you are full of energy, great ideas and in the perfect mood to continue your weekend creatively!

Ultimate chocolate cupcakes!

You know how it is when you have invited your friends at your place and you have promised them that you will bake something delicious ? And then… time is slipping through your fingers and you realize that you have only 60 minutes left, but you are still in your bathtub and there is some laundry underneath your bed (yes I’m sure you have some as well) that needs to be done before they arrive! You are dwelling on between going to a patisserie, but you have to hurry and you’re not in the mood, and moving your ass and bake something from scratch. At that moment you are an inch away from losing control…

And then you came up with something that can actually work! Why not baking the most delicious and thus easiest chocolate cupcakes?

It will literally take you 30 minutes to make them. Here is the recipe;



1. 113gr butter room temperature (1 cup)

2. 2 big eggs

3. 2 tsp vanilla powder

4. 1/2 tsp salt

5. 2 tsp baking powder

6. 50gr cocoa powder (half cup)

7. 200gr crystal sugar

8. 175gr flour

Plus you will need 240ml boiled water and 16 cases for cupcakes.

Let’s do it!


Preheat your oven to 190oC. Boil the water and pour it in a bowl. Add the cocoa powder and mix it with the water. Leave it aside to cool down. In another bowl mix the flour, the baking powder and the salt, and leave them aside. Mix the butter and the sugar separately ’till they become soft and fluffy. Put the eggs in, one by one. Add the vanilla powder and give it a good blend. In that same bowl add the flour mixture and then the one with the cocoa powder. Fill the 2/3 of each cupcake case and bake them for 16 to 20 minutes. Leave them to cool down for 2 to 3 minutes and you are ready to serve!

And there you are! You have the ultimate chocolate cupcakes, ready for you and your friends to enjoy.
